Privacy notice
What we handle across the web service and iPhone app
The Jeeum web service and iPhone app have different feature boundaries. This notice separates how information enters, is used by, and leaves the web creation service and iPhone companion player.
Effective date · 2026-08-06
Information we process
When you create and use an account, we process your name, email address, internal user ID, and password hash. We do not store your password in plain text.
When you use web creation features, we process the audio files and file names you choose, plus generated stems, waveforms, sections, lyrics, chords, and scores.
The iPhone app uses existing-account sign-in information and the internal user ID for authentication. It downloads only your own completed project metadata and prepared stems, waveforms, lyrics, sections, and chords for playback. It saves and restores practice state such as loops and per-track volume and mute settings in your account.
The iPhone app does not collect or transmit audio from the device and cannot initiate source separation, AI analysis or generation, reprocessing, or any credit-consuming task. It does not show or use credits and does not offer purchases, prices, or external purchase directions.
We process payment records only when a purchase occurs in the web service. The iPhone app does not collect payment information.
Sources and purposes
The web service receives your name and email during registration and sign-in and processes audio you submit on the web. The iPhone app receives existing-account sign-in information and syncs projects already completed for that account.
We use web-service information for authentication, separation, analysis, storage, and service delivery. We use iPhone-app information for authentication, completed-project sync and playback, saved practice state, account deletion, support and security, and first-party product analysis. We do not combine it for unrelated purposes beyond what is needed to provide and protect the service.
iPhone permissions and tracking
The iPhone app does not request access to your contacts, location, microphone, photo library, or document picker. It has no feature for choosing or uploading a new audio file from the device.
We do not sell personal data for advertising or use third-party cross-app tracking. We do not connect activity across other companies' apps or websites with an advertising identifier.
Service providers
Cloudflare R2 stores and delivers audio submitted on the web and generated stems and derived files. It may deliver only already-completed account results to the iPhone app. The iPhone app does not upload new audio to R2.
Modal processes audio and necessary derived data for separation and compute initiated on the web. The iPhone app does not initiate source separation, AI analysis or generation, or reprocessing.
OpenAI Codex may process lyrics text needed for lyric correction through Ferry when you start that workflow on the web. The iPhone app does not start this processing.
Anthropic Claude-powered processing may handle text and content needed for lyric annotation or score-related features you start on the web. The iPhone app does not start this processing.
Lemon Squeezy processes order and contact data for web purchases. The iPhone app does not use or link to Lemon Squeezy and provides no purchase direction.
Each provider's own terms and privacy notice apply. We send only the information needed for the relevant storage, compute, content-processing, or payment purpose.
Third-party AI or content processing on the web occurs only after you initiate the relevant feature and, where platform or privacy rules require it, after your explicit permission.
Retention and account deletion
In the iPhone app, Account > Delete Account starts deletion. After confirmation, we remove the account, source audio stored through the web, derived files, and share links. You can retry any deletion that does not finish, and the app keeps the recovery state visible.
Deletion and anonymization are different. Some anonymized aggregate analytics may remain because they no longer identify you. We may also keep the minimal paid transaction records that law requires us to retain for the applicable period.
Data in backups or external processing systems may be subject to each system's operational and retention terms. Contact us if you need details about deletion scope. This notice does not promise an exact backup purge deadline that the service has not implemented.
Your choices and safeguards
You can stop future optional web processing by not initiating those features. iPhone playback does not initiate source separation, AI analysis or generation, reprocessing, or any credit-consuming task, and you can delete service data from the account screen.
Contact us below to ask a privacy question, object to optional processing, or withdraw consent. After account deletion, anonymized aggregate analytics and minimal paid transaction records required by law may remain.
We use access controls, transport protection, and limited operational permissions. No online service can eliminate every risk.
